Earl Winebrenner III
Earl is the owner and president of Winebrenner Capital Management. He has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Earl is a graduate of St. Xavier High School in Louisville and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Louisville. Earl began his career in investments in 1988 at Prudential-Bache Securities. In 1992, Earl then joined J.C. Bradford and became First Vice President/Investments Limited Partner. In 1999, Earl founded Winebrenner Capital Partners and oversaw its registration in all 50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico. Earl has been nominated and been the recipient of many different industry awards over the course of his 25 year career. Earl was the recipient of the Business First “40 Under 40” Award, which recognizes Louisville’s foremost young business leaders. Earl was also a Research Magazine 2001 Hall of Fame Nominee, an industry trade publication. Earl has been profiled by Business First, The Courier Journal, and the University of Louisville Magazine for his vast investment experience and his strive for excellence in the industry. Earl serves as Class Agent for the St. Xavier High School Class of 1982 and was named the “Class Agent of the Year” by St. Xavier High School in 2010. Earl serves on the St. Xavier High School’s Advancement Committee. Earl and his wife Holly, who is also a native Louisvillian, have been married for 24 years and have worked together at the firm for the past 10 years. They have a 20 year old son, Martin, who is a sophomore at the University of Louisville, and hopes to join the family business someday.
Douglas J. Voet
Doug is the CFO for Winebrenner Capital Management. Prior to joining the firm, Doug was CFO for the acquisition of Service Welding & Machine Company, LLC. For 16 years prior, Doug was the VP of Finance & CFO for Fire King Security Products, overseeing the growth of the firm to $125 million. Prior to Fire King, Doug worked in the real estate industry for two different development firms as a Controller and CFO. Previously, he was a senior audit manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. Doug graduated Cum Laude from Thomas More College with a BA in Accountancy and an Associate Degree in Computer Sciences. Doug was the finalist for CFO of the year in Louisville in 2011 and 2009. Doug is a member of the AICPA, Financial Executive Institute and the KY Society of CPA’s.
