Krista Testani, principal of Benecca Properties, obtained her bachelors at New York University in 1990 and law degree at Brooklyn Law School in 1995. Krista is our team leader and is responsible for all day to day activities. Krista manages all of the expenses of each project and is in constant communication with our brokers, property managers, lenders and attorneys. Once a desirable area has been targeted, Krista is responsible to interview the brokers, agents and property managers that will eventually become part of the team responsible to manage the acquired property.

Louis Testani, principal of Benecca Properties, retired from the NYC Fire Department in 2006. Louis has 15 years of home improvement experience and is our leader in researching the markets and properties that fit our criteria in both the multifamily and single family arena. Louis also is a project manager for all of our local construction projects.

Kevin Calhoun, principal of KRC Home Improvements, retired from the NYC Fire Department as a Captain after 26 years. Kevin has over 35 years experience in the construction business including 17 years as a licensed contractor on Long Island. Kevin is also a partner in Par 4 Properties since 2007. Par 4 owns four vacation rental units in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. Kevin is the also the exclusive owner of one additional rental property in Murrells Inlet, SC. Kevin is the supervisor of the day to day operations of all our local projects.

Rich Duffy, principal of KRC Home Improvements, is currently a Captain in the NYC Fire Department and has been in the department since 1990. Rich has over 30 years experience in the construction business and 16 years as a partner in KRC. During renovations Rich shares supervision of our day to day local operations. In addition, Kevin and Rich are responsible for drafting of all renovation budgets for our acquisitions as well as working closely with our management companies in overseeing the execution of rehabilitation plans for our multifamily properties.
